The VC women's soccer team continues to shine this fall, winning two Western State Conference games last week to move its winning streak to eight games. During that streak, the Pirates have yielded one goal defensively and they have held opponents scoreless for the past 446 minutes of play. Leading the charge is first year defender Leslie Torres. The Pacifica High School product has been key in the Pirates' efforts to produce seven shutout wins to date this season. For her outstanding play, Leslie is this week's VC Pirate Student Athlete of the Week sponsored by M & M Sports.
