Rafael Matias and Yanis Guerrout started the day with a solid 8-3 win in No. 1 doubles. Sato and Haru Nakayama followed with an 8-2 triumph in the No. 2 match before Max Beaudry and Manolo Vanbesien won on court 3, 8-4.

Ventura continues its dominance of the WSC with its fourth straight conference title and its 19th in the past 22 seasons. VC had also clinched the 2020 conference crown before the Covid-19 pandemic wiped out the season and the team did not play conference games in 2021. Their last conference loss was March 7, 2019 against Glendale.
The Pirates next host Fullerton on Monday March 24 at 2:00 pm.
