The Pirate football team outlasted Cerritos on Saturday, 39-32. Wide receiver Silas Kemp had a breakout game with five catches for 151 yards and two touchdowns to lead nine different receivers who caught a pass in the triumph. The freshman from Thousand Oaks High School highlighted his evening with a 78-yard catch and run on aa pass from quarterback Daniel Duran to quickly answer a Falcon score late in the third quarter of the game.
