The Ventura College women's soccer team was unable to find the back of the net Friday evening, falling at Santa Barbara 3-0 at SBCC's La Playa Stadium. In the hard-fought contest, the Pirates (3-6-4, 1-1) had 12 shots with eight being on goal. Goalie Aracely Castro recorded three saves in goal for VC.
The Pirates will next host Oxnard College on Tuesday Oct 16 at 6:00 pm at the VC Sportsplex.
