Three Pirates from the women's soccer team have earned first-team All-Western State Conference honors for the 2014 season. Sophomore defender Delanie Gavid and sophomore midfielder Miranda Campos were named to the team along with freshman forward Sabrina Lopez, as voted on by the conference coaches at a meeting last month.
Meanwhile, two more VC players garnered second-team awards: sophomore defender Sabrina Ayala Rocha and sophomore forward Abigail Littleton.
Sophomore defender Paola Cano and sophomore goal keeper Katelyn White were named honorable mention All-WSC.
The Pirates finished the season 11-5-5, 7-1-4, placing third in the WSC North Division and falling in an overtime heartbreaker at Santa Monica in the first round of the playoffs.
