Sophomore utility player Paige Treloar-Ballard has been a rock for the past two seasons for the VC women's water polo team. This past weekend, she scored 11 goals with four assists and eight drawn exclusions in the Pirates' three games at the Western State Conference Tournament in San Luis Obispo. She led the Pirates to a runner-up finish in the WSC, and the team is poised to enter the SoCal Regional Tournament this weekend at Golden West. Additionally, with her goals in the championship game Saturday, Paige set a new school single-season record for goals scored with 104 scores this season. Her career total of 196 goals has also set a new school mark. Paige, who graduated from Foothill Technology High School in Ventura, has been named this week's VC Pirate Student Athlete of the Week proudly sponsored by Snapper Jack's Taco Shack.
