Alisha Greenlaw already had a record-setting resume heading into the SoCal Championships Saturday at Antelope Valley College. The sophomore from Rio Mesa High School added to it, leading the Pirates' track and field team to its best regional finish in over a decade. Alisha, who already holds the school record in the 100m hurdles, placed first in her signature event. She then set a new standard in the 100 meters, posting a school record 12.20, breaking the 18-year old mark and placing seventh. Greenlaw also ran on the seventh-place 4x100 relay team, which posted the fourth-best time in school history at the Western State Conference Finals April 29. Alisha has been named this week's VC Pirate Student Athlete of the Week proudly sponsored by Snapper Jack's Taco Shack.
