The Ventura College golf team shot a season-best 373, defeating Antelope Valley in the Western State Conference No. 5 event at Olivas Links Golf Course in Ventura on Wednesday. Steen Zeman and Eric Burschinger were the low Pirates, each carding a 1-over 73.
Aaron Friedland came in third on the day with a 2-over 74 while Evan Colborn was just a stroke behind in fourth at 75. Kaden Santos turned in a 78 while Kyle Okuhara shot an 80.
Antelope Valley turned in a team score of 431.
The Pirates will travel to the Saddleback Invitational on Monday May 24 before hosting the season finale on Wednesday May 26, also at Olivas Links.
