After a stellar career at RCC, Daniels transferred with a scholarship to the University of St. Katherine's in San Diego in 2018. He led the Firebirds with a 14.6 ppg average with 4.6 rebounds per contest. He was also a team captain as USK finished 6-1 in National Christian College Athletic Association play. Daniels earned West Region Player of the Year and second team All-American honors.
Daniels completed his playing career at Hope International University in 2020 leading the Royals to a 22-11 overall mark. He graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology.
Daniels returned to RCC to coach with Mathews and Pugh in the fall of 2021. Over the next three years, the Tigers were a combined 50-38 over that span sharing the 2022 Orange Empire Conference title, advancing to the Southern California Regional Final in the playoffs. RCC also advanced to the second round of the SoCal Regionals in 2023.
