Fresh off their co-championship in the Western State Conference North Division, the Ventura College men's basketball team is headed to the post-season for the fourth time in the past five years. VC received the No. 20 seed and will travel to No. 13 Cerritos for a first round match up on Wednesday Feb. 24 at 7:00 pm.
Ventura (19-8) received the final spot in the 20-team regional field. They will face Cerritos (20-9), the champions of the South Division of the South Coast Conference. On Nov. 19 VC lost a 68-58 decision against Cerritos in the opening round of the Irvine Valley Tournament.
The winner of this game will travel to No. 4 East Los Angeles College on Saturday Feb. 27 at 7:00 pm.
Admission prices, set by the CCCAA, are $12.00 for adults and $8.00 for students, seniors and staff. Parking in lot C-1 at Cerritos College is free for the game. For those fans who cannot make the trip, the game will be shown live on the VC Sports Network on www.VCweplayhard.com.
