The Pirate golf team continued to score in third place Monday at the Western State Conference event hosted by Citrus College at San Dimas Canyon Golf Club. VC shot a team score of 395 to finish in third place of the nine conference teams for the sixth time in eight outings. Mason Teron went low for the Pirates carding a 3-over 75, good for a tie for sixth place overall.
Michael Ray posted a 77 for Ventura while Jake Yasutake shot an 80. Kaden Santos had an 81, Nick Burns came in with 82, and Noah Hollander posted a score of 84 to round out the Pirate golfers.
Ventura heads to the final 18-hole WSC event of the year on Monday April 22 hosted by Glendale College at Oakmont Country Club. Tee times are scheduled to begin at 10:00 am.
