Alisha Greenlaw and Dylan Roberts both qualified for the CCCAA State Track and Field Championships in competition Saturday at the SoCal Regional Finals in Cerritos. Greenlaw ran her second fastest time ever in the 100m hurdles and Roberts qualified in both the triple jump to come in fourth, and long jump events.
Greenlaw, who set the school mark in the women's 100m hurdles earlier this season, ran her second-fastest time of 14.83 to finish third.
Roberts used his final jump to post a lifetime best of 46 feet, 8 inches to come in fourth in the men's triple jump. He also leaped 21-7 in the long jump to finish seventh, also qualifying for state in that event.
Emily Stephenson posted a mark of 33 feet, 6 inches in the women's triple jump, coming in 11th while Brigitte Kiesewetter was unable to compete in the 5000m due to illness.
Greenlaw and Roberts will travel to the CCCAA State track and Field Championships Friday and Saturday, May 15 and 16 in San Mateo.
