Pirate defensive back Vosean Crumbie has been named the Southern California Football Association Northern Conference Special Teams/All-Purpose Player of the Week. Crumbie, who hails from Tallahassee, Fla., continued his All-American campaign with another versatile performance for the Pirates last weekend. He had three tackles and three pass break-ups defensively and returned two punts and five kickoffs for 170 all-purpose yards. He averaged 32.8 yards per kickoff return, taking the opening kick of the game back 102 yards for a touchdown in VC's nationally-ranked Top-5 showdown against Riverside at the Sportsplex.
