
Isaiah Jackson and Paul Harris have earned Southern California Football Association Northern Conference Player of the Week honors for their performances last Saturday in VC's title-clinching 48-20 win over Allan Hancock College.
Jackson, a sophomore defensive back from Oxnard, continued his stellar season with seven tackles, one pass breakup (He leads Southern California in PBUs.) and also recovered a blocked field goal attempt and returned it 74 yard for a touchdown in the Pirates' final home game of the regular season.
Harris, who hails from Columbus, Ohio, had an explosive game, carrying the ball nine times for 176 yards and a pair of touchdowns, both from over 50 yards. He also had two receptions for 57 yards leading to a score just before halftime. Additionally, Harris had a kickoff return for 37 yards giving him 270 AllāPurpose yards in the contest against the Bulldogs.
