The VC volleyball team dropped its regular season finale Tuesday in a dramatic five-set match against College of the Canyons In Santa Clarita. VC held a 2-1 advantage before dropping the fourth and fifth sets for the 25-17, 20-25, 16-25, 26-24, 15-12 result.
Ventura (17-6, 8-2), claimed a share of the Western State Conference North Division championship with Moorpark and Santa Barbara, the program's second title in the past three seasons.
VC now awaits its playoff seeding to be announced on Thursday Nov. 18. They will begin post-season play on Saturday Nov. 20 or Tuesday Nov. 23.
