The accolades continue to come in for the Ventura College volleyball team as libero Faith Mackie has been named to the All-Southern California Regional team by the California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association. The Foothill Tech product led the Western State Conference and was fourth in the state in digs per set as she led the Pirates to their best season in 15 years.
Mackie had 449 digs on the season, an average of 5.99 digs/set. She was named the WSC North Division Libero of the Year leading the Pirates to their first conference championship since 2005. VC also advanced to the CCCAA SoCal Regional Finals for the first time in 15 years, posting an overall record of 18-5, 7-1 in WSC play.
