Sariah Flores had 15 digs in VC's sweep at West Los Angeles Friday.

The Ventura College volleyball team traveled to Culver City Friday and came away with a 3-0 sweep of West Los Angeles. VC (6-10) won their second straight match, defeating the Wildcats 25-18, 25-12, 25-15. Armonee Hunter and Brianna Finch each led with 10 kills while Rachel Howery handed out 21 assists.
Paris Dosch recorded nine kills in the match while Mikayla Spears had 13 aassists and two service aces. Sariah Flores led the defense with 15 digs and Braxton Jessie had eight digs with a pair of aces. Lauren Lipson also had two aces.
Ventura will host Bakersfield on Wednesday Oct. 12 in their final non-conference tune-up. The match is set to begin at 7:00 pm at the Athletic Event Center.
