The Pirate volleyball team began its season-ending three-match road swing with a three-set loss at Moorpark College Friday night. The Raiders bested the Pirates 25-19, 25-16, 25-21 at Raider Pavilion.
Tori Hiott led the way for VC (11-9, 5-5) with nine kills, nine digs, two aces and a block while Mehgan Lambert had seven kills, five digs, two blocks and an ace. Cassandra Lacanilao contributed 17 digs for the Pirates.
Ventura will travel to Santa Barbara Wednesday Nov. 12 and finish the season Wednesday Nov. 19 at Los Angeles Mission College.
