The Pirate volleyball team saw their four-match win streak come to an end on Friday night at No. 10 Fullerton. The Hornets claimed the match with a three-set victory, 25-12, 29-27, 25-15. Mehgan Lambert led the Pirates (4-2) with 11 kills on the night. Sarah Veloz had eight kills for VC.
The Pirates will travel to Long Beach on Wednesday Sept. 24 at 5:00 pm before returning home to face College of the Canyons on Friday Sept. 26. The contest Friday is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm at the Athletic Event Center.
