The Ventura College volleyball team continued their hot streak with a straight-set victory at Glendale College Wednesday night, 25-14, 25-9, 25-22. Shelby Stanger led the way with 29 assists in the match for the Pirates (5-1).
Sarah Veloz and Mehgan Lambert each recorded nine kills on the night for VC while Tori Hiott dropped in five service aces.
The Pirates will put their winning streak opn the line Friday Sept. 19 at SoCal No. 10 Fullerton College. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm.
