VOLLEYBALL: The VC volleyball team lost in three sets at defending state champion Los Angeles Pierce College Friday night, 25-14, 25-21, 25-10. Sydney Morris led the Pirate offense with four kills and Sarah Veloz had nine digs. The Pirates (1-12, 0-3) will look for their first Western State Conference victory of the season Wednesday at home against Allan Hancock College. The match will begin at 7:00 pm at the Athletic Event Center.
