The VC women's tennis team dropped its first round match in the 3C2A Southern California Regional Playoffs at Orange Coast Tuesday. VC, playing in the post-season for the second time in the past three years, could not keep up with the defending Southern California champions in the match in Costa Mesa.
The Ventura College women's doubles team of Nicole Iannacone and Kira Branson dropped their Western State Conference quarterfinal match Friday at the VC Tennis Center. The pair, seeded No. 6 in the draw, fell to the No. 3-ranked team from Santa Monica, 8-4.
