The VC women's tennis season came to a close Thursday as sophomores Bella DeRosa and Bella Moga competed in the 3C2A State Championships at The Ojai Tournament. Moga competed in the singles competition and the duo played in the doubles draw on the final weekend of the season.
Playing in the singles draw, Moga received a bye in the Round of 128 before falling to an opponent from Sierra College in the Round of 64, 6-3, 6-1.
In doubles play, the duo of Moga and DeRosa dropped their opening round match to a pair from Sacramento City College, 6-3, 6-1.
With that, the Pirates' season came to an end with the team's two sophomores playing on the final weekend of the year.
