VC's doubles team of Alyssa McClain and Elizabeth Nguyen played in the Western State Conference semifinals Friday at the VC Tennis Center. Although the pair dropped the match to the draw's No. 1 seed from Santa Monica, they have qualified to continue their season on April 29 at the Southern California Regional Tournament at Cypress College.
In addition to McClain and Nguyen, Ventrua's Hanna Dever qualified for the SoCal regionals last week in the WSC singles draw.
