Pirate Women Fall Against Santa Barbara

The VC women's tennis team fell to defeat at the hands of Santa Barbara City College Tuesday afternoon at the VC Tennis Center. Sylvie Van Cott was the lone winner for VC (4-4, 2-4), capturing her No. 1 singles match, 7-6 (1), 6-4. Denissa Garcia and Isabella DeRosa had a close 8-5 defeat at No. 3 doubles.

Ventura continues Western State Conference play on Thursday Mar. 5 at Glendale. They return home on Friday Mar. 6 to face San Diego City College in a non-conference match.
