The Pirates' women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision at Glendale College on Thursday afternoon. Aliyah Amaya earned two points for Ventura (0-3, 0-2) with a 6-4, 7-5 victory in No. 4 singles and an 8-3 triumph in No. 2 doubles with partner Keressa Garland. Tanya Thompson won the Pirates' other point with a 6-3, 7-5 win in No. 2 singles.

The Pirates will return to action on Tuesday Feb. 12, hosting Canyons at 2:00 pm at the VC Tennis Center.
