The VC women's tennis team ran into a buzzsaw Friday, falling to host Cerritos College 9-0. The doubles teams of Alyssa Powell and Allie De Marco (No. 1), and Lea Meschke and Jule Lauinger (No. 2) each took a game in their respective match, while Meschke (No. 1) and Powell (No. 2), avoided shutouts in singles.
Ventura (7-7, 5-4) resumes Western State Conference play on Tuesday March 13 at College of the Canyons.
