Women's Tennis Falls in Season Opener

The VC women's tennis team fell 9-0 to Glendale College in their season opener Tuesday afternoon at the VC Tennis Center. Allie De Marco won five games in her outing, falling 6-2, 6-3 in No. 3 singles, while Alyssa Powell also recorded four winning games at No. 2 singles, falling 6-4, 6-1. All three Pirate doubles teams lost by scores of 8-2.

VC will head to Santa Barbara for a Western State Conference contest on Thursday Feb. 8 before hosting Cypress on Friday Feb. 9 at 1:00 pm.
