Bailey Sindle and Allie De Marco each won singles matches, but the Ventura College women's tennis team lost at Santa Barbara Thursday, 7-2. Sindle won in No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-1 and De Marco prevailed in No. 6 singles, 5-7, 6-0, 6-2, but those were the only points VC (4-6, 2-6) was able to score in the contest.
Alyssa Powell fell in three sets in her No. 4 singles contest.
Ventura will next host Cerritos College on Friday March 10 at 12:00 pm at the VC Tennis Center.
