Women's Tennis Falls at Conference-Leading Glendale

Bailey Sindle won her first set in No. 3 singles tuesday at Glendale before falling 10-8 in a third-set tiebreaker.  The Pirates were topped by the Vaqueros 9-0.

The Ventura College women's tennis team fell at Western State Conference leading Glendale College Tuesday, 9-0.  Bailey Sindle was the only Pirate to take a set, winning her first set at No. 3 singles, before falling in a third-set tiebreaker, 10-8.  Jia Wiebe and Katy Scheck also dropped a close match in No. 2 doubles, 8-6.

The Pirates (4-3, 1-2) will return home to face Santa Monica on Thursday Feb. 26 at 2:00 pm at the VC Tennis Center.
