WOMEN'S TENNIS: The Pirates' women's tennis team traveled to Santa Monica on Thursday in a make-up of their Feb. 27 match with the Corsairs. Unfortunately, the Pirates struggled on the court, dropping an 8-1 decision to the defending conference champions. Brianna Rutan managed the only point for the Pirates (4-4, 2-2) on the day, winning her No. 6 singles match, 6-2, 6-1.
The Pirates will return home Tuesday march 11 against Antelope Valley College. The match is set to begin at 2:30 pm at the VC Tennis Center.
