Alyse Quiroz '07 enters her second season on the Pirates' coaching staff in 2013.  Quiroz, who played 4,300 minutes in goal for VC in 2006 and 2007 will coordinate the goal keepers for the orange and black. 

     “Wow! What a find!" siad Hoffman.  "We have added a fantastic, inspirational, and knowledgeable coach who has been in the game for 20 years. I can’t wait to see her working with the players!”

     Quiroz is a 2005 Buena High School graduate who led the Pirates to 21 shutouts in her two seasons at VC..  She was a team captain both seasons and selected first-team All-Western State Conference WSC All Conference both seasons for the WSC champion Pirates.  Quiroz won numerous awards during her career, highlighted by her selection as VC's "Most Inspirational Player" both seasons in a unanimous vote of her teammates.  Currently, Alyse is working for the Ventura County Police Department.
