Alejandro (Alex) Macias is a native of Ventura and enters his seventh year with Pirate Soccer in 2022.  He graduated from Buena High School and as a freshmen played as a goalkeeper and forward on the varsity soccer team. Before graduating from Ventura College, he played goalie for Oxnard College and earned All-Western State Conference recognition. He continues his passion for soccer through participation in men’s leagues and co-ed games throughout the county. 

For the past nine years, Macias has worked for Buena High School as the boys’ goal keeper coach, and also coaches in the Cal South Olympic Development Program.  He is grateful for this opportunity to assist in the VC women’s soccer team and hopes to make a positive impact to the program.
