Sometimes its just not your day. That was the case Thursday for the Ventura College women's soccer team as they dropped a first-place showdown against Santa Barbara 4-0 at the Sportsplex. The setback ends a nine-game winning streak and an 11-game unbeaten streak for the Pirates (10-2-3), and is just the second loss on the year for VC.

VC will look to get back on track on Tuesday Oct. 22 hosting Oxnard. Kickoff at the Sportsplex is slated for 6:30 pm.
