VC soccer players Leslie Torres and Daisy Vaca were named Junior College Division III All-Americans by the United Soccer Coaches for the 2024 season. The pair were honored last week at the organization's National Convention in Chicago. They become Ventura's 17th and 18th All-American honorees in program history and the first since 2016.
Ventura College defender Leslie Torres was named the Western State Conference North Division Defensive Player of the Year in voting by the conference coaches last month. She was joined by Valeria Lopez, Jazzy Moreno, Lex Sahagian and Daisy Vaca as first team All-WSC honorees for the 2024 season.

The Rams stymied the Pirates for over 90 minutes of play before Aguilar, in a desperation play, moved a lob shot forward in traffic from 25 yards out, over the CCSF goalie's head and into the goal for a 1-1 draw.
