Ventura College sophomore forward Audrey Castillo has signed a national letter of intent to continue her athletic and academic careers at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, WA. The 2018 Western State Conference Co-Player of the Year led the Pirates this past season with 22 goals and 11 assists, helping VC to a 10-7-5 overall record and to the program's 22nd CCCAA Southern California Regional Playoffs appearance. Ventura finished WSC North Division play at 8-1-1 and in second place.
In her two-year career at Ventura College, Audrey played in 44 games with 30 goals and 14 assists for 74 career points. She was twice a first-team All-WSC selection.
Eastern Washington is an NCAA Division I school playing in the Big Sky Conference. They were 8-8-3 in 2018, finishing 4-4-1 in conference play.
