The Pirates played to a 0-0 draw at Pierce College Friday afternoon, forcing them to win their remaining two matches next week to claim the Western State Conference North Division crown.

The Ventura College women's soccer team came int the season without a 0-0 tie in nearly seven years. After Friday's scoreless draw at Pierce College, the Pirates had done it three times this season.
With the tie, Ventura, who sits in second place behind Santa Barbra City College, will be forced to win its remaining two matches to claim the program's 16th Western State Conference North Division title since 1996.
The Pirates visit the Vaqueros on Tuesday Nov. 11 for a 7:30 pm match in LaPlaya Stadium. VC finishes the regular season at home against Hancock on Friday Nov. 14.
