The Ventura College women's soccer team will open the 2014-15 Pirate athletic seasons with its annual Nike Soccer Community College Classic Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 28-30. The event will feature 16 teamsfrom throughout the state from Sacramento to San Diego. Games will be played in the VC Sportsplex and on the West Field on campus. Admission is $7 for adults and dtudents under 16 are free.
Action begins on Thursday at 4:00 pm on the West Field and at 6:00 pm in the Sportsplex. Ventura will open against Folsom Lake Community College at 8:00 pm in the SPortsplex on Thursday.
Games will continue on Firday at both venues and conclude on Saturday. The Pirates wilkl play their second match of the weekend on Saturday at 3:00 pm against Evergreen Valley in the Sportsplex.
