Glover's putback at the 1:52 mark stretched the margin to six points before Chabot closed the quarter with a 5-0 run.

Bennett broke a scoreless skid on both ends of the floor with a bucket with 6:55 on the clock, and Ventura did not score again for four more minutes until Gallick got her first field goal of the contest at the 3:10 mark. The Gladiators scored from beyond the arc to open the final period, tying the score at 43, and they took a 47-43 lead with 6:33 on the clock with another three. Alisha Cruz-Lisberg had the answer for Ventura, however, scoring at the rim in transition on the next two possessions to put VC ahead for good.
