TRACK & FIELD: Pirate sophomore Brooke Dixon earned All-American status Saturday, placing third in the shot put at the CCCAA State Championships at Mt. San Antonio College. Dixon, who was also a member of VC's state champion women's basketball team, threw 39' 4" on her second attempt to claim the bronze at the final event of the year. Dixon claimed fifth place in the same event last season. Meanwhile, Dylan Roberts had a strong showing as well in the triple jump, posting a mark of 44' 11" to finish 11th in the state competition.
