Brittany Oliver begins her third year coaching with the Ventura College swim teams. She will serve as the Interim Head Coach for both the men's and women's teams in 2019.

Brittany, a Ventura native, grew up swimming with Buenaventura Swim Club and Rio Mesa Swim Club, and competed for the Buena Bulldogs in cross country, water polo, and swimming. In 2008, after swimming at UCLA for one season, she began competing in triathlon and continues to race as a professional triathlete today. 

Upon graduating from UCLA with a degree in physiological sciences, Brittany continued her education in nutrition at CSUN, focusing her research on endurance athletes. In 2015, she became a USA Triathlon certified coach, and has added USA Weightlifting and USA Swimming certifications to her credentials.

Likes: the color orange, black coffee, gelato, & sunrise ocean swims.

Dislikes: foggy goggles, weak coffee, brown bananas, & clutter.
