Pirate freshman Jennie Jacinto had a pair of hits, stole a base and scored two runs in VC's 4-2 victory at Oxnard on Tuesday.

The Ventura College softball team captured a 4-2 victory at Oxnard on Tuesday, sweeping the season series against the Condors. Jennie Jacinto led the way with a pair of hits, a stolen base and two runs scored while Savanna Higgins was 2-3 with a sacrifice fly, one run scored and one run batted in. Chelsea Trejo went the distance in the pitcher's circle to pick up the win for the Pirates.

Trejo also contributed at the plate, batting 1-3 with a double and an RBI and Kiara Harrison was 1-3 and scored a run. Alexyss Campos was 1-4 in the game for VC.

The Pirates will host their final home game of the season on Thursday April 18 against Allan Hancock. First pitch is slated for 2:30 pm at the VC Softball Complex.
