The Ventura College softball team came back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat visiting Cuesta 3-2 in walk-off fashion Thursday afternoon at the VC Softball Complex. Adriana Clemons slapped an RBI double to right field to score Serrina Cabral from second base for the game-winner in the bottom of the seventh inning. Clemons had three hits and two runs batted in for the game and Cabral also recorded three hits. Jessica Mendoza went the distance for Ventura (18-14, 10-3) in the circle to pick up the victory.

The teams traded zero's early before the Cougars got on the board with a pair of runs in the top of the fourth inning.

In the bottom half of the inning, Marisa Felix hit a triple in the right-centerfield gap, and she came home on Clemons' single.
