Brittany Perez Named All-State in Softball

Ventura College sophomore slugger Brittany Perez earned All-State honors as awarded by the California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association.  The shortstop from Buena High School was in the Top-20 in the state in five individual offensive categories, including triples (7, 5th), home runs (11, 8th), runs batten in (49, 14th), runs scored (53, 19th) and hits (63, 20th). She led the Pirates to a 29-14 record and the program's first Western State Conference championship since 2012, earning WSC Most Valuable Player honors.
