Steve Reardon, assistant with the VC swimming and diving team, enters his third year as the assistant coach for the men's water polo team in 2022. He completed his sixth season with VC's swim teams in the spring. His first season, he helped coach Mary Giles lead the Pirate men to the program's fourth straight Western State Conference title, its 17th overall. He also assisted the VC women to a runner-up finish in the conference in 2017 and the men to a second-place result in 2019.

Reardon joined the staff with 35 years of swim coaching experience in Southern California at the high School and club levels. He is a member of USA swimming and has reached level IV achievements. He has developed and trained countless CIF champions and many of his swimmers have become community college All Americas at Ventura College and enjoyed successful careers at the four year level.
