The VC men's water polo team ended the regular season with a contest at Los Angeles Valley College in Valley Glen Wednesday. Joe Lowry led the Pirates with a goal, two steals, a field block and two drawn ejections. Carlos Gonzalez also grabbed a pair of steals in the setback to the Monarchs.
Alexis Nava, George Bonilla and Rafael Rodriguez all picked up a theft in the game and Nava also drew one ejection against LAVC.
Ventura next enters the Western State Conference Tournament as the No. 5 seed, traveling to No. 4 Citrus on Wednesday Nov. 2.
