The two leading scorers for the the VC men's water polo team, Daniel Amorim and Dominic Tassano, were named first-team All-Western State Conference in voting by the conference coaches last month. Both averaged 3.1 goals per match, with Amorim netting 86 scores in 28 matches and Tassano scoring 89 times in 29 outings. They were sixth and seventh, respectively, in scoring in the WSC.
Meanwhile, three more Pirate freshmen, Trevor Edwards, Alejandro Astudillo and Keaton Hess all earned second-team all-conference selections.
