Men's Tennis Opens 2018 with decisive win over Desert

The Ventura College men's tennis team opened the 2018 season with a decisive 8-1 victory over visiting College of the Desert Saturday afternoon at the VC Tennis Center. Rafael Dunan was a double winner, at No. 5 singles and with Solal Cherqui in No. 1 doubles, as was Priyank Soni (No. 2 singles) and Adrien Etiemble (No. 3 singles), as they teamed up to win No. 2 doubles. Manu Rowe also won twice, in No. 6 singles, and with Alexander Martin in No. 3 doubles.

Augustin Lestelle won his No. 4 singles match to complete the 8-1 victory for Ventura.

Ventura will open Western State Conference play Tuesday Feb. 6 at Glendale College.
