VC tennis sophomore Evan Gazic has signed with NCAA Division II Dallas Baptist University.

Evan Gazic of the Pirates' men's tennis team has signed a scholarship to continue his academic and athletic careers at Dallas Baptist University. The New Braunfels High School (Ariz.) product was 11-5 in singles for the Pirates in 2016, playing No. 2 through No. 6. He primarily played in the No. 5 spot, helping VC to the Western State Conference championship. He also was 3-2 in doubles competition.
Dallas Baptist is an NCAA Division II school playing in the Heartland Conference.
