MEN'S TENNIS:  In their final dual match of the season, the Pirates' men's tennis team fell at Riverside City College 7-2 in a non-conference match Wednesday. Vitor Mendes (No. 1 singles) and Victor Dos Santos (No. 4 singles) were the only two Pirates who managed to put up a point in the match for VC (5-6, 4-2). Mendes won his close match in straight sets, 7-6, 7-5 while Dos Santos outlasted his opponent in three sets, 6-1, 5-7, 6-1.

Ventura will host the Western State Conference tournament on April 4, 5 and 11 before serving as host for the CCCAA State Championships combined with The Ojai Tournament April 23-27.
